Part of the Good Neighbours network

About Us

Sway Welfare Aid Group (SWAG) was founded in 1970 to ensure that everyone living in Sway has someone to whom they can turn in an emergency, read more about our history.

Since these early days SWAG has expanded its services to support people and families of all ages living in the village and experiencing any kind of hardship. SWAG is now a registered charity run by trustees, who are elected by the village community annually.

Sway Tower

We can help with financial support, practical support such as transportation for medical appointments, and we also run a Lunch Club and a Community Cafe. Find out more in the "How we can help" section of this website.

Volunteers are what makes SWAG possible. If you would like to make a difference in your community please visit the "volunteers" section of this website to find out more on how to become a volunteer driver or volunteer lunch club cook.
