Making a Donation
Sway Welfare Aid Group is a small local charity funded by and helping the people of Sway. We are only able to survive and expand our services through the generosity of many local people who donate money to us. None of our trustees receive any payment for the time that they give and our expenses are kept to an absolute minimum. With the exception of a modest mileage allowance paid to our drivers and the ingredients reimbursed for our lunch club cooks, all of our income is used to support our charitable work.
There are several ways in which you could help SWAG with a financial gift:
- You could consider leaving us a legacy in your will
- You might decide to donate an unneeded government Winter Fuel Payment
- A cash gift, no matter how small, would help us to continue and expand our activities

You can make a donation by credit card or PayPal through the Charities Aid Foundation. Go to https://www.cafonline.org/my-personal-giving/start-giving/find-a-charity and type our Charity Commission number, 261220, into the search box in the middle of the page. Please be aware that CAF will deduct 5% of your donation as a service charge for using this service.

If you are a taxpayer please consider completing a Gift Aid form and sending it with your donation. This currently gives the charity an extra 25% from the taxman at no additional cost to you.
